Dear Ms. Schaub,
I just read the Seven Days article about your new book and noted your comment about homemade mayo lasting only a few days.
Someone has probably told you about this… but if not, here are a couple links to how to make fermented mayo that will last at least a month (and for me, 6 months). Totally better than store bought, sugar or no sugar! š

Dear Ms.Schaub
I just saw the Saudi show (khawater ) and it was about you. I really inspired by your idea of living a year with out sugar. Just seeing you going through that year gave me a push to start my year with no sugar. I’m going to try my best to stick to the diet.
Thank You
Abdullah
Hi Abdullah- Thank you for this great comment! I hope you are doing well with staying away from sugar and finding good alternatives… What we found is that it is hardest at first doing all the research, but then you know what to eat and it becomes second nature. When you do try sugar again after a long absence from it, you’ll find it probably doesn’t taste good to you anymore! Instead it seems overly sweet and syrupy. Good luck in your food adventures!
All the best-Eve
Dear Ms. Schaub,
I quited sugar about a year and a half ago, and reading your book lately was very inspiring!
I have to ask you about your post; “No Sugar Resources”. There is the list of “NO FRUCTOSE contained” in it, and it really sounds suspicious as you wrote! How can grapes sugar do not contain any fructose? and what about corn syrup and rice syrup? Do you have a scientific source that proves it?
I don’t want to sound rude or disrespectful, but with all of my experience from reading tons of nutrition info’s, it is really hard to believe…
